Thread – A festival of textiles

Thread returns for a two‑day celebration of all things textiles, welcoming everyone from experienced sewists to complete beginners. Visitors can explore a curated marketplace filled with fabrics, haberdashery, tools, and beautifully crafted work from specialist makers and textile artists.

Across the weekend, the event offers an inspiring programme of expert talks, bookable workshops, and free drop‑in sessions. It’s a chance to learn new skills, discover fresh techniques, and connect with a vibrant community of textile enthusiasts.

£10 in advance (£5 18-25 yrs), £15 on the door, limited availability (under 18s free)
