Farnham Lantern Festival 2026
The third Farnham Lantern Festival will take place Thursday 29th October 2026.
The event begins at 5.00pm on Gostrey Meadow with live music and a chance to admire the lanterns before the illuminated procession sets off through the town at 6.30pm, finishing at St Andrew’s Church.
Community groups, faith groups, care homes, pubs, clubs, schools and informal groups of friends are all encouraged to take part.
Lantern-making kits are available from Farnham Town Hall for £6. BID levy-paying businesses can take part free of charge by collecting a complimentary lantern kit from the Town Hall.
Businesses can decorate their lantern with their logo or create their own unique design, making it a great way to showcase their business and be part of this popular community event.
