Farnham Walking Festival runs from 9th to 31st May 2026 and, over the three weeks, offers a varied programme of guided walks designed to appeal to all interests and abilities.

From short, gentle strolls around the town to more challenging 10‑mile hikes through the Surrey Hills, there is something for everyone, with plenty of options in between.

Each walk is led by an expert guide and explores a range of themes including art and creativity, nature and wildlife, history and heritage, and walks focused on health and wellbeing.

This series of free events features around 30 walks in total and aims to celebrate the very best of Farnham’s great outdoors, showcasing everything from its historic town centre and surrounding villages to the beautiful countryside of Surrey and Hampshire.
