Meet the Farnham BID Board Directors
Meet the Farnham BID Board Directors
Farnham BID is overseen by a seven-strong Board made up of local business leaders from sectors including hospitality, retail, culture and property. The Board provides strategic oversight, ensures good governance, and represents the interests of the wider business community.
Day-to-day delivery of the BID’s work programme is managed by the BID team, working closely with businesses, partners and stakeholders across the town. Activity is developed in line with the BID business plan and informed by business feedback, local insight and evidence of what will deliver the greatest impact.
The Board reviews progress, monitors performance and provides challenge and accountability, helping to ensure BID activity remains transparent, proportionate and focused on outcomes that matter to levy payers. Regular reporting allows spend, activity and results to be clearly explained and scrutinised.
The BID operates within a defined budget and does not have unlimited resources. This means funding decisions must be carefully prioritised to ensure investment delivers the greatest possible benefit for the widest range of levy-paying businesses.
The levy supports Farnham’s growth, and the BID’s role is to make sure that funding is used responsibly — balancing effective management with visible, practical action that benefits Farnham’s businesses and the town as a whole.
